Bandung has been a city of rememberance for many.
The dutch called it Paris Van Java, a direct comparison to Paris France those days.
Because of the cool uphill location, where the air is fresh , water is cold there are nice comfortable cafes
in the renown Braga Street.
The sewerege and the road design were beautiful. And how they planted the trees and created the parks.This is what makes so many love stories in Bandung for the old Dutch folks and now.
Shamefully the infrastructure is different now from then. There are empty malls where it is unnecessary, filthy trash and deteriorating old buildings lost by the power of capital.
But anyways Let’s go back in time and see back then.
