The Holiday Inn is a world wide hotel brand. Did you know that the brand  was actually taken from the 1942 movie Holiday Inn played by Bing Crosby  and Fred Aistaire. It was Kemmon Wilson’s architect named Eddie Bluestein  whom first named it based on that movie.

The sign has a history of its own. “Holiday Inn’s sign was a prop in a play,” says Andrew Wood, professor of communication studies at San Jose  State University and an authority on motel history. “It communicated the  playfulness, fantasy and optimism of the American roadside. And it meant  safety for the [traveling] middle class.”

Nowadays it is part of the International Hotels Group (IHG) consists of  1400 hotels and resorts and one of them is in Bandung. It adds up the variety of options for customers to choose among Bandung Hotels.
